Attorney
Sean Patrick King, ESQ.
I was born outside of Chicago and relocated to Louisiana when I was a child. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University, followed by both a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
During law school, I served as a two-term judicial extern for Judge Shelly D. Dick of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. I also completed a summer externship with Lambda Legal Defense & Education Fund in their Atlanta offices, where I assisted with impact civil rights litigation.
After graduating from law school, I relocated to Texas to begin my legal career at a family law firm, where I gained extensive litigation experience handling complex divorce and custody matters, as well as cases involving the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in termination of parental rights proceedings. Over the years, I assisted hundreds of clients through deeply personal and high-stakes legal issues, combining compassionate guidance with strong, results-driven advocacy.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, serving as an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, and immersing myself in Austin’s vibrant live-music scene.
Sean holds a J.D. and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center and brings his extensive litigation and family law experience to help families with estate law.
